Bar Harbor Bank & Trust Donates $2,000 to Twin Pines Housing to Support Affordable Housing in the Upper Valley

White River Junction, VT (March 26, 2024) – Bar Harbor Bank & Trust has donated $2,000 to Twin Pines Housing to support the nonprofit organization’s mission to increase access to quality housing and supportive services in the Upper Valley. The Bank’s donation will be used to assist Twin Pines Housing’s supportive services program, which provides residents with services such as food access, job training, and utility discounts.

“Twin Pines Housing provides a much needed service to the Upper Valley, and we are proud to partner with this great organization,” said Michelle Siggers, Branch Relationship Manager at Bar Harbor Bank & Trust.

Since 1990, Twin Pines Housing has worked to develop and purchase a variety of housing accommodations, including apartments, mobile home lots, single family homes, and condominiums. Most housing options are in close proximity to public transportation, shopping, and employment opportunities to reduce the need for private transportation.

"We feel very lucky to have Bar Harbor Bank and Trust in our corner,” said David Crandall, Director of Development at Twin Pines Housing. "They understand that fostering community well-being begins with a secure and stable home. We are grateful for their support."
