Brandon, Vermont (November 29, 2023) – Cristy Harding has been promoted to Branch Relationship Manager for the Bank’s locations in Brandon and Rochester, Vermont. In this role, she leads a team of banking professionals to provide solutions and guidance to help individuals, families, and businesses in Brandon, Rochester, and surrounding towns meet their financial goals.
Cristy has 18 years of experience in banking. She began her career in 1997 as a customer service representative at Chittenden Bank. In 2006, she became a part-time customer service representative at First Brandon National Bank, which was later acquired by Lake Sunapee Bank and then Bar Harbor Bank & Trust. She has taken on tasks of increasing leadership responsibility during her 17-year tenure, eventually working her way up to her current position as Branch Relationship Manager.
Cristy graduated cum laude from St. Michael’s College, where she received her Bachelor of Arts degree in French with an International Business minor. Throughout her career in banking, she has received numerous certificates from banking schools and associations including a banking operations diploma, customers service representative certificate, customer service associate certificate, general banking diploma, supervisor certificate, and her universal banking certificate.
Cristy is active in her community. She is a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, where she serves in the music ministry and is the lead of the church’s Folk Group. Cristy also serves as Parish Council secretary and is a member of the church’s finance committee. She is a member of the Brandon Free Public Library Board of Directors, where she serves as the treasurer and a member of the finance committee. In addition, Cristy performs as a Brandon Festival singer during the fall and winter seasons.
Cristy and her husband, Martin, live in Brandon, Vermont.
