10/19/11 Bar Harbor Bank & Trust 23rd Annual Community Food Drive

Bar Harbor, Maine — Bar Harbor Bank & Trust is hosting its 23rd Annual Community Food Drive from November 1-18th. Everyone is invited to bring donations of non-perishable food, cash, and grocery store gift cards to any of Bar Harbor Bank & Trust’s 12 branches from Lubec to Rockland. These gifts will be used to help stock the shelves of local food pantries.

In addition to accepting donations at its branches, Bar Harbor Bank & Trust is also hosting live radio broadcasts at four area grocery stores in partnership with Classic Hits I-95. You can drop off donations at these stores between 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on the following dates: Bar Harbor Hannaford on Friday, November 4; Ellsworth Shaw’s on Thursday, November 10; Tradewinds Marketplace in Blue Hill on Thursday, November 17; and Bayside Supermarket in Milbridge on Friday, November 18.

Local food pantries who will receive these donations include: Bar Harbor Food Pantry, Westside Food Pantry, Emmaus Center, Loaves and Fishes, Tree of Life, Maine Sea Coast Mission Food Pantry at Weald Bethel, Island Pantry, Thomaston Interfaith Fellowship Food Pantry, AIO Food Pantry, Lifeline Food Pantry, Machias Food Pantry, and Whiting Food Pantry.
