Elena Martin, Vice President/Electronic Banking is recognized for keeping her focus always on the customer, striving to ensure that their experience is positive. As banking has become more electronic over the last few years Elena is constantly involved in new product launches, upgrades, conversions, and responding to data issues. When serving on these project teams, Elena never forgets the customer and what impact the initiative may have on them. She is truly a customer advocate. Elena pays close attention to the details and works hard to ensure that all customer communications are professional. She does all of this quite effectively, while managing a staff of three. Elena is a great team player, responds quickly and thoughtfully, and will often help with Bank sponsored community events.

Rebecca Emerson, Branch Relationship Manager in Deer Isle is recognized for giving 110% of herself, day in and day out. Her customer service skills are exceptional, both internally and externally, making sure the needs of customers and team members are met in a positive way. In her community, Rebecca serves as a member of Island Fishermen’s Wives, on the Island Recreation Board, and is the Chairperson for the Steering Committee for Ready By 21. She is a great team leader, who brings out the best in all who work with her.
