Bar Harbor Bank & Trust Awards Career & Technical Education Scholarships in New Hampshire

Concord, New Hampshire (August 22, 2018) – Congratulations to Mercedes Allain, Aharon Chesler, Lexie Grenier, Jackie Seminara, Mia Sturtevant, and Thomas Tague-Bleau, recipients of the Bar Harbor Bank & Trust Career & Technical Education Scholarship. These six 2018 high school graduates attended a technical career program as part of their high school curriculum, and were awarded the scholarship based upon their academic success and determination to further advance their education and vocational skills. Mercedes Allain, resides in Claremont, New Hampshire, is a graduate of Stevens High School and attended Sugar River Valley Regional Technical Center. She is enrolled at Husson University pursuing a degree in Nursing.
 
Aharon Chesler, resides in Hudson, New Hampshire, is a graduate of Alvirne High School and attended Palmer Career & Technical Center. He is enrolled at Southern New Hampshire University pursuing a degree in Computer Information Technology.
 
Lexie Grenier, resides in Claremont, New Hampshire, is a graduate of Stevens High School and attended Sugar River Valley Regional Technical Center. She is enrolled at Castleton University pursuing a degree in Music and Special Education.
 
Jackie Seminara, resides in New London, New Hampshire, is a graduate of Kearsarge High School and attended Concord Regional Technical Center. She is enrolled at New England School of Barbering pursuing a degree in Barbering.
 
Mia Sturtevant, resides in Hillsborough, New Hampshire, is a graduate of Hillsboro-Deering High School and attended Concord Regional Technical Center. She is enrolled at Plymouth State University pursuing a degree in Psychology.
 
Thomas Tague-Bleau, resides in Manchester, New Hampshire, is a high school graduate and attended Manchester School of Technology. He is enrolled at Lesley University pursuing a degree in Digital Film.
 
Bar Harbor Bank & Trust awarded 15 Career & Technical Education scholarships of $1500 each to 2018 high school graduates in Maine, New Hampshire and Vermont. Application criteria included attending a technical career program (in designated geographies) as part of their high school curriculum, describing their career aspirations and college choice in a personal statement, as well as sharing their leadership and community service experiences.
